ETIOLOGICAL AND CLINICAL ASPECTS OF PEDIATRIC STROKE

Abstract:
This study presents data from examinations of 21 children diagnosed with stroke, including 14 children with ischemic stroke and 7 children with hemorrhagic stroke. The examinations were conducted between 2014 and 2020 at the Bishkek City Children's Emergency Clinical Hospital and the "Cortex" Clinic. The average age of the children was 5.3±2.2 years. The causes of stroke were not identified in 47.5% of cases. Clinically, symptoms such as tremors (52%) and hemiplegia (34%) were predominant.
