OVARIAN PREGNANCY OF TEENAGE MOTHER WITH SUCCESSFUL OUTCOME: A RARE CASE REPORT

Abstract
Despite the progress in diagnostic and treatment technologies, ectopic pregnancy is still considered a life-threatening situation, since bleeding that occurs after its rupture can be fatal. Ovarian pregnancy is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy that causes a major diagnostic problem. It for 1-3% of all ectopic pregnancies. It happens when an egg cell is fertilized as well as implanted within the ovary instead of fallopian tube and uterus lining respectively. According to common opinion such pregnancy usually does not proceed past the first four weeks of pregnancy. Our article presents a clinical case of advanced ovarian pregnancy which was misdiagnosed as normal uterine pregnancy has a successful outcome and patient delivers a 35-week viable healthy baby.
