Abstract:
60 foreign students (30 boys and 30 girls),average age M SD: 19.45 0.14 and 60 local students (30 boys and 30 girls),average age M SD: 18.50 0.25 (t = 3.311; p = 0.01) of the first year of medical universities in Kyrgyzstan, lipid profiles and risk parameters for the development of cardiovascular pathology were studied. For the majority of students, both foreign and local, all the studied parameters of the lipid profile were in the range of reference values. However,a study of the ethnic characteristics of the lipid profile revealed that Indian students had a higher triglyceride level than local students, but with no statistically significant differences in the mean values between boys and girls of this ethnic group.Total cholesterol levels in both ethnic groups were statistically significantly higher in boys than in girls.
